Thrive Groups
Thrive Youth Groups are held at the Miramar Multi-Service Complex. Thrive is aimed towards high school students who are struggling with finding positivity in their life. Social Workers will challenge the students to find coping skills through activities to help manage everyday life. The students who choose to participate in the group sessions will gain the ability to cope with life situations in a more positive manner.
Program Days : Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Youth Internship Programs
This innovative program will educate youth on how their community works together to support its most vulnerable population. Interns will learn from professional experts in the field of Social Services on how programs are designed to achieve the greatest positive impact for families and their communities . This opportunity will prepare them for the successes and challenges they will face in higher education, the workplace and in life. All while providing them with the necessary tools to navigate adulthood.
The Youth Intern program will:
- Operate Quarterly for 10-12 weeks
- Require a 40-hour minimum commitment from youth interns.
- Immerse interns in multiple departments and varied learning opportunities.
