Regional Park Aquatic Complex

The main pool is opened year-round. The pool is heated during winter and chilled during summer. Note: The playground is not heated.

Swimming classes are offered in the morning and afternoon. Please call 954-883-6955 for more information.

Parents and children must pay regular admission fees if they want to use the facility before/after their swimming class is finished whether they are swimming or not.

Private swimming lessons are not allowed!

Rules For Patron Safety

Children ages 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older).
Children 5 years of age and under must always be within arm’s length of an adult (18 years of age or older).
Proper swimming attire required, no jean shorts or cutoffs. • Lifeguard instructions must be followed.
Only coast guard-approved life vests are allowed. They are available free upon request.
Do not swallow pool water. • Do not use the pool if you are ill with diarrhea.
The facility is equipped with a Thor guard system, which will be activated whenever lightning is detected in the area. In the event of a loud sound, please take shelter. • All customers must pay the daily admission fee, whether they are swimming or not.
All customers must wear wristbands.
Swim diapers are required for all non-potty-trained children.
Smoking and drugs are prohibited on city of Miramar property.
Management reserves the right to remove a participant or spectator from the facility for violating any of the above rules or engaging in illegal, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior.
The city of Miramar is not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage to personal property of any kind.

Prohibited Activities

Climbing or swinging on pipes or ropes.
Sliding headfirst on slides (feet first only).
Running or engaging in dangerous behavior.
Using floats or water toys.
Bringing glass items.
Bringing animals or pets.
Using masks, fins, or snorkels.
Chewing gum.
Throwing objects.
Smoking.
Alcohol in the pool or pool deck.

Disability Equipment Available

Miramar Aquatics meets the minimum all requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regarding accessibility to buildings and facility usage. The Miramar Regional Park Swimming Pool has disability equipment available. The pool access chair is an ideal solution to swimming pool access via a platform lift or ramp.

Rules

No masks, snorkels, or other water toys are allowed in the facility

Water Playground & Splash Pad

For safety reasons, children over 50 inches will not be allowed to ride the slides.

Water Playground & splash pad is closed from November through February.

A security deposit in the amount of $100.00 is required the day of the reservation for all Funbrella rentals. This deposit is refundable within ten (10) days after the day of the party. Non-Broward County Residents will pay 20% more.

Funbrella / Pavilion Rules

No glass containers.
Only beer and wine are allowed with pavilion rentals. However, alcohol must be kept in the pavilion area at all times.
Decorations need to be placed in the assaying hooks area and all decorations must be taken down.
No DJ equipment or loud disruptive music allowed
Bounce Houses need to be from the approved vendor's list and insurance must be approved before date of party.
