Social Services

The Department was established by the City of Miramar to improve and enhance the quality of life for individuals of all ages by providing comprehensive community services and programs.

The Social Services Department provides comprehensive information and referral, youth and family community outreach and senior programs and services. In addition, the Department operates educational programming for preschool, VPK, and elementary aged children and operates an adult day care which serves clients 18 years old and older. The Social Services Department is responsible for administering the following four (4) programs:
