Landscape Maintenance Program

The Landscape/Irrigation Repair and Maintenance Program encompasses inspection and landscape maintenance under Public Works responsibility of properties, including rights-of-way landscape material, irrigation repair and maintenance, and general landscape maintenance mowing services performed by an in-house landscape maintenance crew and city contractors.

The program also includes staff to manage and inspect lawn maintenance services performed by contractors and in-house aesthetics crews.

Irrigation Systems

Irrigation systems are an integral component of all the landscaped areas. The program also incorporates inspection and maintenance of all irrigation systems to ensure compliance with Broward County Naturescape Irrigation service. The program helps the City to maintain the highest efficiency in water conservation system. The program is also inclusive of chemical application to the City's irrigation pumping systems to aid in the prevention of rust build-up.
