Code Ranger Program
Miramar Police Department's Code Ranger Program utilizes volunteers to inspect neighborhoods and report possible code violations. The program is focused on improving the appearance and safety of our community.
The Code Ranger Program encourages residents and property owners to maintain their homes and yards in order to preserve property values and discourage crime. By utilizing volunteers, the program allows code compliance officers the opportunity to devote more time to egregious, repetitive or complicated issues affecting our community. The program also creates a greater sense of community in each neighborhood by encouraging cooperation and increasing neighborhood pride, making Miramar a cleaner, safer and more attractive place for all residents.
