Traffic Engineering

Traffic Engineering provides information and coordination with Broward County’s Traffic Engineering Division and Florida’s Department of Transportation in the planning, installation, operation, and maintenance of all traffic control devices within the City.

Specific duties include:

• Review of site development and roadway improvement plans
• Review and approval of Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Plans for proposed roadway and or utility construction
• Respond to traffic operation and safety concerns
• Coordinate with the City of Miramar Police and Fire departments
