Land Development Application Public Notices
A public hearing on this Ordinance will be held by the Planning & Zoning Board on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., City Commission on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. (First Reading), and on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 7:00 pm (Second Reading) in the City Commission Chambers, Miramar Town Center City Hall, 2300 Civic Center Place, Miramar, Florida 33025. The public hearing may be continued from time to time by the Planning & Zoning Board or City Commission. The public is advised that members of the Planning and Zoning Board may be present at the City Commission hearing.
The City of Miramar proposes to adopt the following ordinances:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIRAMAR, FLORIDA, AMENDING PORTIONS OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; CREATING A NEW SUBSECTION REGARDING ACCESSORY USES AND STANDARDS; REPEALING SECTION 809, ACCESSORY USES AND STANDARDS; REPEALING TABLE 402-5 ACCESSORY USES—RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, WITHIN SECTION 402 RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS, WITHIN CHAPTER 4 ZONING; AMENDING SECTION 808, OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING STANDARDS, CREATING NEW SECTION 505, ACCESSORY USES AND STANDARDS; REVISING CHAPTER 2, DEFINITIONS; MAKING FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND INTERPRETATION; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING THAT OFFICIALS ARE AUTHORIZED TO TAKE ACTION; PROVIDING FOR CORRECTION OF SCRIVENER’S ERRORS AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIRAMAR, FLORIDA, AMENDING PORTIONS OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; AMENDING SECTION 402, TABLE 402-2 AND TABLE 402-3, RELATING TO THE DEVELOPMENT BULK STANDARDS FOR SINGLE-FAMILY AND MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS; AMENDING SECTION 403, TABLE 403-1, RELATING TO PRINCIPAL USES WITHIN NON-RESIDENTIAL AND MIXED-USE ZONING DISTRICTS; MAKING FINDINGS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR CONSISTENCY WITH THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING THAT OFFICIALS ARE AUTHORIZED TO TAKE ACTION; PROVIDING FOR CORRECTION OF SCRIVENER’S ERRORS AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
